So here’s a few things that I know - one:
The incoherence is bubbling, it’s frantic, I feel like I’m losing control
My motivation is good but I’m lacking in gumption, and here is the rub:
You go up, down, spin me round, quiet, loud, whisper, shout –
I just want it figured out, everything that you’re about...

All I’m saying is I’m not ready
I’m always drunk and a little unsteady
I talk in drivel but I think you get it
Now the joke’s on me...
We keep on falling, and sing together
The choice of cover was a schoolboy error
And then her head came off in my hands;
Well this was never part of the plan;
The biggest howler since time began.

Another few things that I know - one:
I stumble blindly when asked to walk straight,
when you’re there all my balance is thrown
I’m so retarded, I can’t even function, I melt into mush
Tear out the sanity clause in the contract, and make this as basic as one, two, three...

Like a long-lost cousin at a family wedding
I’m always drunk and a little unsteady
I’m fumbling crosses like Peter Bonetti
Every time I speak…
I feel so stupid as soon as I’ve said it
She stole my heart, but I’ve a mind to forget it –
It’s more excitement than I can stand;
We’ll all pile in the A-Team van;
Things were never this bad in ’Nam.

The final verdict was quite depressing
They shot my runner like a worthless cretin
The nag limped onward with legs of spaghetti
and staggered in last place...
It all makes sense if you only let it
The prose here’s dumb, but you’ll never forget it –
I’m no Jedi Knight;
I’m no good in a fight;
But when I’ve used up all eight lives;
Be my lucky number nine.
